The panel
The closing panel asks where modelling and AI go next, and how communication and collaboration fit in. I bring the two talks from earlier in the day. What coding agents changed in how I build outbreak models, and what we learned communicating model outputs during COVID-19. My guess is that agents build and check, while people keep the question, the judgement of whether a model is fit for use, and the trust of those who act on the numbers.
The organisers asked me to join the panel at the end of the day alongside the other speakers, moderated by Philippe Beutels of UAntwerp.
